Beef Cattle
Housing beef cattle on deep beds during the winter months can lead to an increase in bacteria and, subsequently, viruses and disease.
The use of Ultra Dri when topping up beds can minimise the problem as it’s quick acting and kills the pathogens within minutes.

Calves
During calving time the same increased level of bacteria and disease risk is present. The use of
Ultra Dri when re-bedding can kill bacteria creating a safer environment for both cow and calf.
Ultra Dri can be sprinkled by hand onto any areas where the disease organisms may be. Prepare a clean pen and spread 100g per square metre directly onto the floor or matting, top with bedding and then spread 75-100g per square metre (i.e a “good handful”) on top of the bedding 2-3 times per week.
